Our Programs

Commercial sexual exploitation is a vicious cycle and the Paul & Lisa Program, Inc. is committed to breaking the cycle through our unique and effective programming. Commercial Sexual Exploitation often begins with risk factors such as poverty, abuse, racism, lack of family support and lack of educational opportunities all of which leave victims vulnerable to predators, recruiters, and pimps. Victims are often coerced into an exploitive situation and find themselves trapped. Commercial Sexual Exploitation leads to addiction, involvement in the judicial system, severe physical and psychological abuse and trauma, STD’s, HIV/AIDS, cervical cancer, and fertility complications, all of which enslave the victim in this brutal cycle. Victims feel that no options are available to them and are abused again and again by pimps, and perpetrators (“johns”).

The Paul & Lisa Program, Inc. focuses on four concepts through our programming: Prevention, Assistance, Redirection, and Support.

Prevention Education informs the public about the risks associated with commercial sexual exploitation and challenges the misconceptions of commercial sexual exploitation while encouraging individuals and organizations to become public advocates for this underserved and often ignored population.

The Women’s Holistic Health Education Program assists those involved in exploitive situations with accessing services and addressing the issues of addiction, violence, health risks and exploitation and the effects on the mind, body, and spirit.

The Direct Intervention Program offers options to those involved in commercial sexual exploitation in order to empower them to redirect their lives.

Case Management Services maintains support by building bridges to connect survivors to the community resources that are essential to a successful recovery.
