The Interagency Task Force on Trafficking in Persons was established by the Connecticut General Assembly in 2004 by Special Act 04-8. This Task Force is comprised of elected officials, law enforcement officials, state agency representative, community-based agencies and victim services providers. The Task Force is responsible for researching the the scope of the problem of trafficking in Connecticut. The Paul & Lisa Program are members of the Sex-trafficking Subcommittee as well as the Children’s Subcommittee. International Institute of Connecticut, Inc.
The International Institute of Connecticut is a community based non-sectarian, social service agency founded in Connecticut in 1918 to serve the foreign born population of our state.
Yearly, the International Institute of Connecticut provides services to approximately 7,000 clients.

The Connecticut Consortium for Law and Citizenship Education, Inc. is a private, non-profit association that promotes and conducts law-related education programs and projects in Connecticut's public and private schools, courtrooms and communities. Its goal is the incorporation of citizenship education into the curriculum of all schools, from kindergarten through high school. Established in 1976, the Consortium is co-sponsored by the active participation of a number of private and public groups throughout the state.
